jean clostre (1936-2016)

Bio 

Jean CLOSTRE was born in Geneva in 1936. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (classical languages) and a degree in law from the University of Geneva (1962). He was called to the bar in 1964. He subsequently worked as an associate at the firm Duboule, Strub & Hauchmann (1965-1967), joining the firm as an associate in 1967. He has been a partner since 1985.

Jean CLOSTRE specializes in tenancy law, rights in rem, construction law and town and country planning, debt recovery and bankruptcy law and art law.

He has been a member of the Bar Association of Geneva since 1965, and is a member of the Geneva Business Law Association, the Swiss Lawyers Association, the Centre for Art Law, and was a member of the Bar Association Council of Geneva from 1984 to 1990.
