Lydie Zanzen was born in 1993. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in law from the University of Fribourg in 2015 and a Master's degree in general law from the University of Geneva in 2018. During her Master's degree, she completed an exchange semester at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She completed an academic internship at the Chair of Public Law at the University of Geneva to assist Professors Michel Hottelier, Karine Lempen and Maya Hertig in their contribution on the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. In 2019, she worked in Mexico City with the NGO CENCOS specialized in human rights, more specifically in the protection of journalists.
She holds a certificate of specialization in law (CAS) obtained in 2018.
Lydie Zanzen joined the law firm Canonica Valticos de Preux + associés as a trainee lawyer in October 2019.
